	Mating Surface Condition
	In order to optimize the service life of the bearing, the surface of the mating surface (shaft and sealing surface) should be finished with a surface roughness of Rz2-Rz3. A finer surface condition improves the service life only slightly. A surface roughness over Rz4.5 reduces service life by more than 50 %. Exceptionally a finishing cut with ensuing polishing or another suitable finish is admissible.
